Little known secret: This place has the best croquetas in town! They have 2 types, the regular croquetas, and the "croquetas de la casa." The latter are rarely ordered because people unknowingly order regular croquetas. However, the croquetas de la casa are amazing, and easily compete with Isla Canaria for best in town. Don't believe me? Check it out. This place is my regular breakfast spot for that reason. As for the rest of the menu, it's all ok. The place is open 24 hours and offers good comfort food. Sandwiches are great. Servers are nice ladies when if you know how to interact with them.

Formica counters? Check!
Chef with wood spoon decoration? Check!
Maquinitas in the back? Check!
Low prices? Double check!
After a complicated day of a family emergency, work and errands I was starving and just needed a big plate of Cuban comfort food. Epicentro was next to the pharmacy I went and thus ate by default. However, the only time I'd come back here with Mrs. Mysterious Hands is if we hit a bad spot in our relationship.
I had to wait a while to even get attention, and had to "oye pliz" a couple of times to get attention. I finally received a (decently toasted) order of Cuban bread with a lite stroke of butter. My chicken breast with the cebollitas (caramelized onions) though an adequate size could have been a little juicier. The moros were ok, nothing to write home about. Along with the flan, the Maduro (sweet plantains) were the highlight of my meal. I actually remember the jiggly flan with a nice helping of syrup more than the main course! -

Order through UberEats; they gave me an old tasteless hard vaca frita with no sides. Just for you to know, customers can tell when the food has been reheated. Won't order ever again.

Im rating this place based on customer service. Jesus how rude. Aparently I called when they were changing shifts. The lady that answered told me to wait to see if the lady coming into this new shift would take care of me or not....literally asked the lady...are you going to take care of her or no? The new lady that then proceded to take my order questioned me who I was and if I've ever placed orders there???? Really??? I had to convince her I was placing the order for my husband who was on the way to puck it up...she took my order and hung up on my face...didnt even get a call back # Would it be so hard to just take the order ??? You have 1 JOB!! I wonder how people with no type of people skills get jobs ?? I love you Hialeah pero no puedo contigo!!

A small Cuban cafeteria that is open 24 hours located in Hialeah. Yes that's right you can order their well known super pan con bistec sandwich at any hour of the day or night! The super pan con bistec is actually the ONLY item I've ordered from here aside from coffee. It's so ridiculously juicy good... I have to get it every time if I happen to be in the area. Even better the sandwich only goes for about 5-6 dollars! A quick note is I usually have my order to take out and I wouldn't recommend eating there. The tables at times aren't clean for customers to enjoy their meal... I can understand some of the employees are working long exhausting hours there which is also why the service can be a hit or a miss. I guarantee you one thing though. The super pan con bistec sandwich is a WINNER!
